Getting access was easy, and I didn’t really have any trouble finding my way in. The signs were okay, actually, now that I think about it, they could definitely be clearer in a few spots

"Calm spot for an easy afternoon"
I checked out Mississippi Aquarium before we went, and it actually gave me a good idea of what to expect. Helpful. The place had a really calm, clean feel to it, and it never felt too loud or hectic.

The staff were friendly enough, and getting around was simple. Nice. A couple of spots did get a little crowded, but it wasn’t anything that ruined the visit.

Overall, it was a really pleasant way to spend a chill afternoon. Relaxing. I’d definitely go again, but I’d probably try to pick a quieter day next time.

I was disappointed. The food came out cold, and the drinks were flat, like really flat. It just didn’t feel worth the money at all. I don’t think I’d go back.

"Easy Parking"
Umm, I found a spot quickly, and the parking was close enough to where I needed to go. It definitely made the whole visit feel a lot less stressful.

"Really nice family day out"
Took my kids here on a Saturday and we had such a good time, it was easy to get around and it didn’t feel too packed which made it way less stressful, and the staff were really nice whenever we had questions. My little one was obsessed with the touch pool and my older kid really liked the birds, so everyone had something they enjoyed and we’d definitely go back again.

"So many different animals to see"
I was surprised by how many different animals they had here. Like, we saw sharks, otters, dolphins, birds, rays, and then a ton of smaller fish and reptiles too.
It didn’t feel like we were just looking at the same kind of tank over and over, you know? The kids kept spotting something new around every corner, so yeah... it ended up being a really fun visit and definitely worth the stop.

"It was easy to get to..."
It was easy to get to, which I liked, and the location is convenient if you’re already in the area. Parking wasn’t too bad when we went either, so that was a plus. At the same time, I can’t say the whole trip really stood out to me. It was fine, but I also felt like I expected a little more. So yeah, easy spot to visit, but somehow still just average for me

We took the kids here and they had the best time at the touch tanks. They kept going back to look at everything and were so excited to actually get up close. The staff was nice enough and helped make it a easy, enjoyable visit for us.

The staff were genuinely helpful and clearly knew a ton about the fish and tanks, which was a nice change from the usual “uhh, I think so?” experience you get in some places. They explained everything in a simple way, didn’t rush me, and somehow made fish tank advice feel painless. Really good experience overall.

"No wait at all"
I stopped by sometime last week, or maybe it was the week before, and there was no wait. Like, really no wait. I expected to be standing around for a bit, but I was helped right away, which was a nice surprise.

"Such a fun little penguin experience"
We did the penguin encounter and had a really good time. The staff were super nice, and the penguins seemed really well looked after, from what we could tell. We got a decent amount of time up close with them too, which was kind of the best part. Just a really fun day overall.

"Seems Like They Really Care About the Animals"
I went with my family most of the animals looked healthy, calm, and well looked after. The tanks were clean, and I noticed the staff checking on things, which I really respect because places with animals have a responsibility to do right by them. I do wish a few of the signs explained more about how the animals are cared for, though. Overall, it felt like they take animal welfare seriously, and that matters a lot to me

"Nice visit, but the value needs to be better"
We had a decent time at the aquarium overall. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and what we did see was enjoyable. That said, for the price of the tickets, I expected there to be more exhibits or at least enough to make the visit feel worth it. We got through everything quickly, which was disappointing. It’s not a bad place by any means, but I do think they need to be more accountable about what guests are getting for the cost. If prices are going to stay that high, the experience should match.

Buying the tickets online was mostly easy, honestly. The site was kind of slow at times, so I kept pausing and double-checking a couple steps before I paid, just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. But yeah, I got the tickets in the end, so overall it did what it was supposed to

"Solid Visit with Clean, Easy-to-View Habitats"
I had a good time overall. The tanks looked clean, the viewing areas were easy to see into, and it seemed like the animals had a decent amount of space. A few sections felt a little plain, but it didn’t take away from the visit too much. I’d still recommend it to a friend looking for a casual place to check out.

"Nice weekend stop with the kids"
I took my kids here over the weekend, and overall it was a nice visit. They enjoyed seeing the animals, and the touch area was definitely the highlight for them. The staff was friendly and everything felt easy to get around. I do think some of the kids’ activities were a little limited, and we ended up getting through it all quicker than I expected. A few more hands-on things for younger kids would make it better. Still, it was a decent outing and the kids had a good time.

I had a question before stopping by and they got back to me really quickly, which made the whole thing easier. Any confusion was totally avoidable because they were clear from the start. The staff was friendly, patient, and made everything simple for us.

"Cute Otters, But I Expected More Info Upfront"
I’ll admit, the otter exhibit was one of the main reasons I checked out msaquarium before visiting. The otters looked adorable and fun online, but I was expecting a faster, clearer way to find details like what the exhibit is actually like or when they’re usually most active. Seeing them in person was still nice, but it wasn’t a huge wow moment for me. Kids would probably enjoy it more. I just think the website could do a better job giving visitors a clearer idea of what to expect.
